The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department was established in 2008, initially offering an Undergraduate (B.Tech) program with an intake of 60 students. Over the years, the department has expanded, including a Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, to cater to a broader spectrum of students aspiring for careers in the field.
The strength of the department lies in its highly experienced and qualified faculty, who are dedicated to mentoring, guiding, and inspiring students. They provide continuous support, helping students achieve their academic and professional goals, enhance their ambitions, and overcome challenges with motivation and counseling.
To ensure hands-on learning and industry relevance, the department has established state-of-the-art laboratories that are well-equipped as per JNTUH and AICTE norms, providing students with the practical knowledge essential for excelling in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Sri Nimmala Karnakar, M.Tech, is the Head of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department and an Assistant Professor with a deep commitment to research and academic excellence. With a strong work ethic and expertise in the PhD research process, he excels in communicating research findings and fostering innovation. A dedicated mentor, he has guided numerous undergraduate students, shaping their academic and professional growth in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
