Dr. S. Murali is a distinguished academician and researcher in the field of Mechanical Engineering, having earned his Ph.D. from Osmania University. With an extensive professional experience spanning 29 years and 9 months, he has dedicated 25 years to academia and four years to the industry. His expertise lies in thermal subjects and engineering mechanics, and he has successfully guided two research scholars. Known for his strong administrative and teaching skills, he has made significant contributions to both academic and institutional development.

Dr. Murali has an impressive research record, having published 29 journal and conference papers. He possesses in-depth knowledge of ASME pressure vessel codes and TEMA codes and has actively designed and developed small-scale projects across multiple engineering disciplines to meet institutional requirements.

His contributions have been recognized through several prestigious honors and awards. He received a Certificate of Commendation for his meritorious service during the Telangana Formation celebrations on June 2, 2017, from the Mahabubnagar Municipality. In 2014, he was honored with the Senior Educator & Scholar Award by the National Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development (NFED) in Coimbatore. Additionally, he has served as an expert panelist for reviewing R&D project proposals in New and Renewable Energy under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.

Dr. Murali has actively participated in professional development programs, earning recognition as an Excellent Participant at the Effective Teaching workshop organized jointly by SNITS and JPNCE in 2007. He secured second place at Srujana 2004, a state-level competition for mechanical hobby projects, where he presented a working model of a solar air cooler. His technical contributions also include the fabrication and installation of a Morse Test Rig at JPNCE, for which he received an appreciation certificate.

 

Through his extensive experience, research contributions, and commitment to academic excellence, Dr. Murali continues to be a valuable asset to the field of Mechanical Engineering and higher education.
